Breathe Magazine reports on Checkpoint Tracker
The good folks at Breathe wrote up a little piece about Checkpoint Tracker and are running it on their homepage. Look for ongoing coverage of Checkpoint Tracker at BreathMag.ca as the 2010 season gets underway.
“Checkpoint Zero, recently announced the launch of Checkpoint Tracker, an innovative, new concept for competitive adventure racing in the United States. A long desired streamlining to the sport which will provide a standardized system for Sprint and Pro rankings, an entirely new Web 2.0 social networking website, and a National Championship race offering a $10,000 cash prize purse. That’s right, a $10,000 cash purse.”
Granite AR / Granite AR-1 tie for 1st place at USARA Nationals
Not much information available so far, but both teams crossed the Finish line together this morning at 5:52 and were declared the unofficial winners.
Team Granite Adventure Racing is comprised of some very experienced, very talented racers that have more often raced as Eastern Mountain Sports.
Any Team member can now add/remove Racers and Events
There’s been a lot of confusion over this. Until now only the Racer that created the Team had rights to manage it. Eventually we’ll be extending our role-based permission model out to Teams so the Owner (user that created it) will be able to grant Admin rights to select members, but for now we thinks it’s better that everyone have rights than just one user.
