Belated 2012 Rankings, Almost
Last season Checkpoint Tracker was limited in that it did not support multiple courses at one event.
After rolling out multi-course support earlier this year we’re very happy to report that we’ve just deployed another update to the site which adds support for gathering results from all those new courses.
This was a critical second step on our way towards a new rankings engine. Which we need to generate rankings…which we know you are dying to see :-)
If you look at an event offering multiple courses, like the Big Chill, you’ll now see a results tab for each course (bottom half of the page next to the list of Teams).
So what’s next?
We’ve recruited a Rankings Administrator who is already hard at work gathering results from all events completed to date. As soon as we’ve entered the missing data we’ll fire up 2.0 version of our Rankings Engine and publish the first update of the season.
We hope that will happen no later than this weekend.
Solo Male is Dead, Long Live Solo Male
Several users have reported that when they try to select a Course and Division when creating a squad the Division drop-down is not being populated with the Divisions for the selected Course.
If you go ahead and create the squad without selecting a Division it is assigned, by default, to the Solo Male division.
After a LOT of digging and debugging we’ve FINALLY found the cause of the problem and just rolled out a fix. Sorry for the frustration.
Lightning Strikes Adventure Race
A sprint length race with all of the adventure of an expedition race.
You will experience white water canoeing, orienteering using LIDAR topo maps, caving, mountain biking over backcountry roads, and multiple fixed ropes.
The ropes sections are unlike anything you have experienced, +100’ rappels and ascents, and a 400’ zip line.
All of this plus the High Profile Adventure Camp!
